I always get really itchy feet and want to move house, I go through phases all of the time. I think it stems from my childhood. My mother had agoraphobia amongst other illnesses and we moved house all of the time as she would get sick of the same 4 walls. I have moved house over 25 times.

At the minute though, I really want to move. I can't help thinking we could be getting a much nicer house for the same or less money.
We only rent at the mo, so there is no mortgage/selling/buying involved.

Basically I have just seen a house to let near where we live now. Same size of house except a lot more modern, and £65 a month cheaper. They are after a long term let, and pets are accepted.
Its essentially the same style house we have now, just a few roads down.
Its available from the end of July, so gives us time to pack and all. Our lease here is up at the end of June and we had intended to renew it.
I do love the house I am in now but it's not very modern and it's hard to keep clean, plus there is a damp patch in the cupboard under the sink which has been *fixed* twice but keeps coming back. I know thats a silly thing to get annoyed over but we can't use that cupboard because it stinks!!

George thinks I am off my head wanting to move right now. We have recently decorated baby's room, but really all we have done is paint and hang things, the finish is in the accessories lol! So although yes, we do have it sitting how we like at the mo, it won't be hard to do in another house. George probably disagrees as he was the one that had to do the painting lol, but this house I want to look at has recently been decorated anyways so I figure once we get all of her stuff in it it will look much the same as the one we have now, just a different colour IYKWIM.

So basically, to sum up:

Pros: this other house (if we got it, I know we may not even get it but at the mo I am just trying to convince George to view it!) is £65 a month cheaper, the area we like and know, more modern, long term let which I do want as I want to settle down, pets accepted and available end of July.

Cons: we currently have a lovely landlady who also doesn't mind us having cats, we know and like the area, and he thinks moving house a few weeks after we have a baby would be insane.

No word of a lie, it would take me 48 hours tops to get the house sorted. I can't cope with things in boxes!! And I've moved so many times, I'm like a little whirlwind when it comes to unpacking, people know to just leave me to it lol!!

Saying that, I've never moved with a baby before hehe!

The only thing worrying me is telling our current landlady, as she is lovely, if we did decide to move as we had always intended to stay. But I figure I would just be honest with her and tell her we have found somewhere cheaper and in the current climate we need to save money where we can!

Help!
