I was thinking as I watch yet another segment on the Today show about all the horrors of being obese if anyone has ever traced how many times a day we deal with that. What if we as fat folks tracked how many times a day we are "fed" the message that we are going to die younger, get all these diseases, cost the taxpayers so much money and so on. Maybe if we tracked it and send letters to our media, represetatives and anyone else we think is pertinant we could maybe change the way the message is delivered.
I have no problem with being educated on what the risks I have carrying this extra weight, its the way we are preached at as if we are stupid, lazy, and substandard that gets me. Maybe someone has a better idea of how we combat this but I am really getting sick of being bombarded at home, work and in social situations.Suggestions? Feedback? Comments?
