I was accepted for a place at the Queensland University of Technology to start a Masters in Information Technology!
I'm going to major in Library and Information Services. I think this will really further my career oppurtunities as I have been working as an assisstant in two different medical libraries at the University of Queensland (where I did my undergrad and honours) and found that I really like working with information and books! Plus having a general masters in IT will come in handy for many prospective employers and I believe it will give me more oppurtunities than a Bachelor of Arts with Honours has.
I'm currently on a six month part time (4hrs) contract as an assisstant at the moment in a library, so hopefully I can get some flexible hours to keep my income coming in.
