I may have asked this last summer but If I did I have forgotten it and in any case the information, in some cases, may have changed.
Does anyone personally know someone , including themselves, who has had a hip replacement when weighing over 300 lbs? Over 350 lbs?
How long ago and how are they doing?
Louise when from 385 to 322 in six weeks and was worried that the the weight loss of 65 lbs in 9 weeks might be a sign of a return of cancer or some other new bad condition.
She was happy to see that in the next several days she gained 1 lb and that the the next several days she only lost 2 lbs. Now she had a bit less pain and there is more good food in the house. In the last 3 days she has gained 3 lbs.
Normally she would not care but there is theis problem with the weight she is expected to reach before she can have the hip operation.
She assumenes that when the operation is over and she is not in so much pain and can enjoy food more she will regain most or all of her weight back.
