I must admit that I was surprised to find an institutionalized form of size discrimination at a place like Dimensions.
I discovered the 5000 character size limit for Private Messages during a conversation with a fellow Dimensions member. This is an outrage, considering the purpose of this forum. If anything, there should be a size minimum for messages that are sent.
So...is there anything that can be done about this? I've used vBulletin message boards before, and have never run into a size limit for Private Messages. Is there some button I can push or some user preference I can change? Or am I stuck with splitting my messages into multiple parts in order to send them out?
