I'm not sure where to look or go to find the answers to my questions so here they are.....
I received my insurance check but they want me to sign it and send it back and everytime I hire a contractor/person to do any repairs I have to send in the paperwork to have it approved and the money issued.........what i wanna know is................what can they do if i don't do it their way?? I pay the insurance they don't, if I do it their way god knows how long their gonna drag it out and thats even longer I have to wait to go home, even longer I have to pay to stay where I'm living and still paying for my house having the repairs done. This is just costing me more money by the day plus they didn't give me enough to cover the repairs and even though my deductible is only 500.00 I'll be paying at least $4000.00 out of my pocket.
As long as I keep my receipts and give them that, is that not enough????
