How many times have you read a post only to be stumped by a series of letters that you should know but don't? I am fairly savvy but occasionally I run into abbreviations that I just cant work out. I kinda feel silly asking around to find out that the shorthand is something that I feel I am the last to figure out.
Using acronyms or shorthand may be easier for typing and texting and are being used in posts with a higher rate of frequency. But, as common as they are in our everyday life, if you don't know what the abbreviations mean it can make a well thought out and well written post into a cryptic word game.
As a Dimensions public service to users I thought it would be nice to have them all in one place, and couldn't find a thread already posted for it. If it is not obviously self explanatory please include a context of usage.
