Almost four months ago my wife broke her leg.She was in a cast for about two months and has been off work since it happened. She's been going to therepy since getting the cast off. She had been stuck around 270lbs. for quite some time but had recently weighed herself and was 277lbs. before the accident.Of course during this time she hasn't been able to do anything but lay around and eat.Today for the first time since the accident she decided to step on the scale. As I'm looking down at it, up pops 304lbs.My wife asked me what it said and for a moment I didn't know what to tell her.She loves her size and I've always wished she would gain more but it still kind of blew me away. When I told her all she said was that she was sure she hadn't lost any weight. The thing is, even though it's just a number, and if she was 299lbs. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference looking at her.I feel excited(not knowing a better word to use) that my wife is 300+lbs.I can't stop thinking about it even though I know it's only a number. It is just the strangest feeling.
