It took me a loooong time to decide to post on the board. I guess my family doesn't/didn't take too well to my ideas about what a "beautiful" woman looks like; but its my life, so deal with it! If they really want me to love life, they will deal with it. I guess my question/statement is that, how do you explain wanting to spend time with a girl who is not "the norm" compared to what your family and society feels/thinks? I've tried explaining how I feel to them, but they are not exactly receptive to my feelings (unfortunately)
- I'm sure this type of question has been asked hundreds of times, but really dealing with it is new to me. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!
