Dimensions' loiterer
Not a big deal, but on the radio this morning I heard them mentioning that Jann Arden is out on tour, and it occured to me that I've never heard her mentioned on the boards in the talk of BBW performers.
For those who don't know her she is a canadian woman in her mid-40s, who has had some very successful songs, at least up here, over the past decade or so. She is if not a BBW at least definately on the chubby side, with curves and a double chin and everything. She has a pretty awesome voice, and writes effective songs in the adult contemporary/chick-music/folksy-singer-songwriter sort of vein....if you like the Indigo Girls you might like her, for example.
Anyway, just thought I'd point her out to those look for examples of non-skinny folk having success in the performing arts.
