So was anyone really that surprised by the Jon and Kate breakup? I am beginning to wonder if the entire situation was a sham from the start, and two people who really couldn't stand each other stayed together for the financial benefit aiding their (then) new brood.
He seemed like a spineless, directionless milquetoast who had no real direction. Not sure if he's the megadad that he's trying to put forward, or if he just lost his will to do anything except mind the kids and put up with Kate.
She seemed like a controlling shrew who put on this facade of the caring parent, loving wife and exploited her fame and kids for profit.
