I'm doing a road trip next week that will take me through the Kansas City area, and know of the reputation the place has for barbecue. Does anyone here have a recommendation for a must-visit BBQ joint or two? I'm especially partial to some nice pulled pork. :eat1: I don't care for highbrow fancy-schmantzy stuff, just good, honest food.
Last year's road trip took me to some great Mexican food in El Paso and San Antonio, followed by some damn good Texas-style BBQ in Houston. I know the KC style is different, and am looking forward to sampling some.
