OK, as some of you know, we bought a 1940's cottage fixer-upper a couple years ago. For the last year, DH and I went through HELL, and I do mean hell, redoing our kitchen/dining/laundry area. We did it ourselves, in true weekend warrior style. We finally finished the kitchen last weekend, although the dining area still has a little more work (window trim). Anyway, I'm just thrilled to have a working, functioning kitchen again, with a mini-dishwasher no less! It's still a small kitchen, but lightyears beyond what was there before.
Before pics, truly horrifying. The first is how the place looked when we first visited, before we bought it. The second picture was when we were moving in. Note the large bottle of vodka on the countertop, which is critical when undertaking something of this nature.
