NJ BBW Mini Bash Update
Okay, just a few things to cover, and bring you up to date on.
First, we've been told that the hotel room blocks are sold out. There are still people wanting to make reservations at the block price ($89), but no rooms are available at that rate. We are asking that anyone who has to cancel a reservation for Friday or Saturday (9/21 or 9/22), please call the hotel ASAP, and let us know, so we may accomodate one of the others still trying to get a room.
Second, the dinner for Saturday evening is SOLD OUT! Due to space contraints, we had no choice but to limit the attendees for the dinner. HOWEVER, the dance tickets are still available, and can be purchased at the door. If you are looking for a place for dinner on Saturday before the dance, please see one of the bash organizers, who will be happy to tell you about all of the restaurants in the area.
Tickets for the PRIVATE pool party on Friday from 8-10 pm are available at the door. This is going to be a very relaxing get together, especially for those who have had long drives, or a flying in on Friday. After the pool party, everyone can meet at Whispers Lounge for drinks.
We have had a great response to the shopping trip to Woodbridge Mall after the luncheon at Harolds on Saturday. For those remaining at the hotel, however, the pool will be open, but it will not be private. Several people have indicated they would like to spend Saturday afternoon in the pool, before the dinner and dance on Saturday night.
Several folks who sell things have asked about selling their wares at our event. There is no problem with that. If you are coming on Friday, we recommend giving any flyers for your products or services to the folks at the front desk, so they may includde it in the welcome pack to the other hotel registrants. We also recommend that you bring some flyers or business cards to the events, as ther will be an admission table where these items can be placed.
Finally, some of the bbw web models have indicated some interest in a clothing exchange. This is an informal event, and will be put together some time on Saturday. It will be held in one of the hotel rooms.
Last, the hotel has a policy about brining alcoholic beverages into the hotel. We are asking you all to do your best to honor this policy. We'd like to be able to return to the hotel at some point, and are requesting that you use discretion with regard to the hotel policies.
