Not sure if I posted it before, but I made brownies last night, and here is the recipe I use:

- 2 sticks (or one cup) of butter, softened
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350 (325 works best if you are using a silicone pan like I do...)

Mix cocoa in with butter, add sugar and mix thoroughly. Crack and lightly scramble eggs and add to cocoa, butter, and sugar mixture, along with salt and vanilla. Once those ingredients are thoroughly combined, slowly mix in flour a little at a time. Add a cup of chopped nuts if you wish, and stir to incorproate them. Pour into greased square pan, and bake for 30-45 minutes (depending on type of pan). They are done when a skewer or knife comes out clean.

They aren't really thick dense gooey brownies, nor are they dry cake type brownies, they are a bit in between.

Enjoy.
Tracy
