I am wondering if anyone else has seen this animated movie. It is highly stylized and one of the prominent features of the movie are consumerist American characters that are fat beyond realistic proportions. It's certainly not intended to be flattering (it seems clear the obesity is intended to be symbolic of consumerism run amok), but I felt the imagery was quite something.

It's not something I recall seeing references to "in the literature". As movie overall, I personally found the movie interesting, but quite long and slow. I generally enjoy artsi-fartsie movies, but it did take me a while to get "into" the movie.
