For those who live in, or are visiting Manhattan, Boston, San Francisco, or Chicago, and want to research restaurants, try:

It lists restaurants by area and type, shows menus, and has reviews and ratings by "real" people, not food critics. I utilized it for my last weekend in Manhattan, and it was invaluable!
