There was a story on deviantart where a woman has grown up around her fat family. Once someone comes of age, it's part of the family curse to slowly reach morbid obesity. Her older relatives were around +300 pounds and her older siblings fell victim once they left home and such. She tries to cut ties to stave it off, but not for long before she gives up and just turns into the skid. By the end, her sister, now thinner due to WLS, goes to visit her. She's practically immobile and it's only then she finds out, "You mean our parents didn't tell you? You're adopted."
Was well written and had me thrown for a loop the first time around. I'm worried it's been too long so the account's been closed. Even then I would try the wayback machine, but I don't know who wrote it. Any one else remember this gem?
