I need to acquire some WWII/'40s-ish outfits and am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Several years ago I purchased a top and skirt set from Catherines that I currently use, but that makes me look like a '40s matron (not that it's a bad thing, but it's not exactly the look I'm trying to cultivate). I usually wear sizes between 28-32 depending on the brand and cut of the piece, and I'm rather pear-shaped with a sizable belly.
Anyway, I would be ever so appreciative for any and all suggestions. Thanks!
(And if anyone has any tips on '40s hairstyles for long hair, I'm open to suggestions....)
