Okay, I know this isn't an 'event' per-say...but I am looking to get a job in the computer game industry in the UK...and obviously I'd need to move there if I were lucky enough to find a position. 
So, I'm just curious as the the price of living, what I'd have to go through customs wise, taxes wise, work permit, other permits, and anything else I'd need to get started. Any recommendations on where to start looking, what to look for, how to figure out all the details associated would be much appreciated. :bow:
It won't be until September that I start seriously looking for a position, and it won't be until January that I will be moving...but I'd like to start figuring it out before hand so I don't have to rush things last minute, or during finals week this coming semester (I've done that sort of thing before, not so much fun). :doh:

Any sites, associated works, books, etc on the subject would be extremely helpful
