Some of you may remember a fwe weeks back I posted a post about me having a new job as a nanny for a great family.
Well, some unfortunate circumstances have come up. The family adopted the baby, and after having her for 6 weeks, the birth mom has changed her mind and wants the baby back, so they have to give her back on Monday. CT has the longest waiting period in all states, 60 days, and before those 60 days are up, the best intrest of the child isnt even looked at, the moms rights are just absolute. SO even though the birth mom is bi polar, affraid to walk on sidewalks with cracks and other various things, and even though she just applied for welfare to raise the child, it doesnt matter. Only thing she needs to take the baby back is a car seat, no food, clothes, diapers or anything.
I feel terrible for this family and all that they are going through. They are just heartbroken.
The only hope is for the birth mom to not be able to handle it, which no one thinks she will be able to, and to give the baby back,,,so, maybe ya all could say a lil prayer if you believe, that baby Em, will be allowed to come back home.
I will continue to be employed by them, even though it is the last thing they should be worrying about, but they insist i remain employed by them for many many months to come, as they plan to relist them selves as adoptive parents, and hope, if EM cant come home, to adopt another baby.
