I have a friend who is visiting New York for the first time next week. Her fool of a companion seems to want to do the sight-seeing thing (Men! Pah!) and so her time for shopping is going to be limited to a couple of Blitzkreig style, hit-and-run sprees.
Where is the best place for the widest choice of quality, plus size clothes in Manhatten? Is there one Department store or street which will give her the most options in a couple of hours of frantic credit card abuse?
She's a US size 30/32/34 ish, and she'll be after wide fitting shoes too. Anyone got any suggestions?
