Was involved in a conversation wherein the very well off sister of one of my wife's best friends very forcefully stated that people like her and her husband (both senior executives at Fortune 500 companies) need to pay more taxes. This conversation, Warren Buffett, and the fact that many of countries richest places are staunchly Democrat (e.g. Marin County in California and New York County back east) leads me to believe that many rich folks don't support the GOP's crusade to protect million and billionaires.
