Medical question for a friend

I have a lady friend who is a BBW & is having a problem that her Dr. keeps saying is because of her weight but I feel there may be another possible reason.She's been getting severe headaches & the Dr. says they are blood pressure related.However he has given her pills for the BP & it has dropped down to acceptable levels.So my question is if her bp is back to acceptable levels how could it be the cause of her headaches?Would any of you have an idea of what else may be causing the problem?Oh...from what she has told me,the Dr. is also a fatphobe!That's another reason that makes me think it may be other than weight related.
