mexican layer dip?

ok in the last 2 weeks I have been to 2 cookouts and there were several kinds of mexican dips. I loved them all.

I dont know how to make any of them :-(

My fav seemed to have avacado, sour cream, lettuce, refried beans

but, I am looking to see if anyone has a good receipe for a good mexican dip....the layered one.

Im having a party in 2 weeks for my Bfs birthday, and am making it a mexican theme, since I promised Heather I would make her quesadillas

So any other SIMPLE mexican appatizer type things would be appreciated as well.
