Ridiculous.
Anyone else experiencing them?
I live in the suburbs of Washington, D.C... and my house is at the bottom of a hill, essentially. That means when 10 inches of rain come in a period of two days- not good. My entire (newly-carpeted and furnished might I add) basement was just soggy as anything. Last night and this morning, we had our new carpet ripped out, some damaged walls taken out- and I had some ruined clothes and belongings. This is all as we're preparing to sell the house (in a buyer's market... grr) and move by the end of the Summer. Now we won't have it ready to be shown for at least a month ad I'll probably have to come home from college in September or October to help my Pop move 20 minutes East. You know when they say "when it rains it pours"? It's hailing in my life right now- and this isn't helping it. And I think I hear thunder again... sighhhhh.
... anyone else got the flood blues?
