So I was flipping channels and happen to come across the Miss Universe 2006 pageant and while I'm not too interested in these women from a physical standpoint, I have to say...

Did anyone seen the costumes they had these women in during the introduction of the contestants? Heck, if they wanted the contestants to weight that much, at least do us FA's a favor and make it a fat girl pageant! I'm telling you... these costumes had headpieces the sizes of the small island nations half these women came from, along with layers and layers of "native" dress from their countries. It's so funny... I bet the contestants cannot wait to get to the swimsuits and take off the pounds of clothes and you know, breathe a little. Anyone else catching it?

And please... let's not make this thread into a Hyde Park-esque thing by talking about the merits of a pageant. It's cliche, overdone, and we all know how we feel about them, mmmkay? :p
