So I have been paying attention to media advertisements (both radio and television), and I have noticed the interactions between husbands and wives. It seems like there is no loving warmth between couples in these modern day media ads.

I noticed that ads from the 1940s to even the early 90s featured couples lovingly interacting with each other without the smart-aleckyness displayed in these modern day ads. What happened? Why can't modern day ads feature two loving people who do not have cynicism towards each other? Why must the wife demasculate her husband and the husband be a--- pardon me, total p-whipped wuss? Excuse my rant.
