Very Veggie Soup
Edited: Drain the liquid from each of the canned goods.
Mix together in slow cooker: half head cabbage, sliced thin; 3 medium potatoes, diced; 4 carrots, sliced; 1 yellow onion, diced; 1 can tomatoes, 1 can corn, 1 can green beans, 1 can vegetable broth, 1 can tomato juice or V8, 1/2 teas garlic powder, 1/4 teas dill seed, 2 teas. salt, 1/2 teas. pepper.
Add enough water, as needed, to fill slow cooker 3/4 full.
Cook on low 8-10 hours.
Variation: add 1 cup diced red beets during last 1/2 hour, and top individual servings with sour cream for Borscht.
