Dude, this is a cult classic in progress. Lots of critics have panned it, but they just don't get it. Dude, I LOVED IT. There are loads of quotable lines of dialogue and plenty of over-the-top insanity.

For those seeking BBW/BHM in the movies, there are gratuituous shots of Jack Black's portliness and a BBW with all too few scenes in hot pursuit of Black's wrestling partner. ("Secret tunnels". Ha!)

Big folks aside, this movie is insane. If you liked Napoleon Dynamite, you'll love Nacho Libre. If you didn't like ND, you'll hate NL. The movie was shot in Mexico, with an entirely Mexican cast and crew except for Jack Black and three other guys.

Let me put it this way, if you don't want to see Jack Black get the crap beat out of him by feral demon-headed midgets, this ain't the film for you. That's right, it's a thinking man's movie, not for the X-Men or MI:3 crowds. This movie is as close to Lucha Libre as a Hollywood film can get, and I loved it.

It's almost as good as Wrestling Women vs. the Aztec Mummy. I give it the Fatlane Seal of Approval.
