Al Diggy and I were discussing films and derailing the crush thread, so I thought I'd bring that conversation over here.

In general, a list of my faves would include:

Crash, V For Vendetta, Bend it Like Beckham, True Romance, Muriel's Wedding, Kill Bill I & II, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, any dystopia film and the same with disaster films, The Devil's Backbone, Sunshine, Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead 28 Days Later -- anything Zombie!, Shawshank Redemption, The Brothers, The Godfather, Scarface, Goodfellas, The Freshman, Donnie Brasco Carlito's Way -- anything mob!, pretty much any superhero film -- love 'em!,What Lies Beneath, The Green Mile, The Long Way Home, Yi Yi, Spaghetti Westerns -- and in particular any starring Eastwood, Shall We Dance? (NOT the new version!), Shaft (the original, with Richard Roundtree), The Seven Samurai, Unbreakable, Twister, the original Star Wars trilogy, the Krzysztof Kieslowski trilogy: Blue, White & Red, anything Bruce Lee made, Hero, Fist of Legend, Fearless, Wong Fei Hung (or, Once Upon A Time in China), Godzilla movies, Rat Race, Soul Food, Barbershop, Interview With the Vampire -- almost any vampire movie, actually, but there are too many to list -- adore them.

Okay, it's getting too long, and I could go on and on. These are some of the films that I will watch repeatedly. First time is almost always the best, of course, but with others, you see things upon repeated viewing that might have been missed the first time.

Tell me some of your faves. Or even talk about specific films and why you love them. I'll probably get to some of that myself, but let's hear from you, too.
