In Rememberance
Is on a ship headed to Iraq - he's in the Navy - and the rest of my family is being so cavalere about him going to war. He's my first born nephew and I cannot (not for lack of trying) stop being angry at my sister who encouraged her son to join the military in war time. Oh but there is so much more to be angry with my sister about this is just one thing.
My father thinks if he loses his life it would be for our country. And as he said "You take your chances when you join the military".
I must be from another planet - because I thought his life was more precious than that.
