My baby cat :(

I just got back from London and when I got into the car my mum had to tell me that my little cat brooks had died this morning. He was only one, he choked to death on the lid from a water bottle and there was nothing she could do. I'm so upset, I keep sobbing so much that I can't breathe. I don't know what to do, please help
