Well, i said i would post when i have time, so here i am posting about the lovely lonnnnng flight over to Australia...for the first time in my life, i decided to buy two seats, i figured i found a great fare it would be my treat to me, thank goodness i did...
Since i last flew with Air New Zealand 5 years ago, they have refitted the seats...now, while they say they are 17.5 inches across, i surely dont know where they got their numbers, i would have been miserable had i not of gotten two seats...now the plane wasnt full, and if i hadnt of used my two seats to get more luggage on, i would have asked for a refund of the one seat...but let me tell you, the seats in front of me, were RIGHT in front of me, those of you who sit on butt cushions like i do know what i mean...the butt cushion moves you forward, so when the seat in front of you reclines, i swear they were right in my lap...the food was ok...the flight attendants were so nice, but i swear, without two seats i woulda been a goner....plus at 13 hours who wants to sit cramped...
i will say, the flight from new zealand to sydney, was fine, i coulda fit in just one seat, but i still used the two...but that was the first plane i could have sat in just one seat....and you know i havent really changed my size that much...i dont get it....
ohhhhhh the bathrooms, those were tight tight tight..but thank goodness fat is squishable....even the hall to the bathrooms were tight...i dont remember it being anything like that last time i went...but i should add, that while those were tight there were some in the middle of the plane, that were much easier to get to, thank goodness cause otherwise, i would have felt bad including this part at all, i remember the first time i flew over (this is my third flight over) that i was terrified to fly, cause i thought i wouldnt fit into the bathrooms, i believe pretty much anyone can fit, there are many different types of bathrooms they have on the plane and i saw some of the new planes will even have a handicapped bathroom....who would have known...
so, ok...my hips are somwhere at least around 72 inches (i know i know, 6 ft tall, 6 ft wide, who knew?) so, that is my synopsis for anyone who wants to know...
i have to say, most of the people associated with the flights i took were so nice, but the best trip of all was from Las Vegas to Los Angeles...no flight involved and with friends...lol....
