Spruce top, maple back and sides, rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
Back is one-piece arched maple--no back bracing.
L.R. Baggs I-beam pickup with active pre-amp.
.013 to .056 phosphor-bronze strings (.058 when I can get them).
Pictured here with brass saddle (removed to bring the action back down...I'll re-install the brass after I file it down some).
Unplugged, it's usually the loudest guitar in any jam, especially with new strings!
One of the last of the pre-Fender jumbos, built in Westerly, Rhode Island.
I bought this Guild JF30 new a little over six years ago now, and it just keeps getting better!
