When I lived in the Dallas area, I visited a California Pizza Kitchen restaurant, and wasn't impressed at all. Several months ago, though, when I saw these in the frozen foods section at Wal-Mart, I was tempted to try them. I love frozen pizzas, but have never considered them to be even close to gourmet. These, however, are the type I would pull out the red and white tablecloth and good plates for and enjoy with a bottle of wine.
The first one I got was the Margherita...and I fel lin love instantly. Since then, I've tried the Sicilian, the White, the Garlic Chicken, and the Sweet and Spicy Italian Sauage (all thin crust), and I haven't been disappointed with any of them. They are a bit pricey ($6-7), but in my opinion, worth EVERY penny.
Last night, I found them in the thick pan-style crust, so I got the Five Cheese and Tomato.....heaven. That says it all.
