My sister had WLS last Monday. I had a bad feeling about it and tried to get her to hold off and go to the gym with me. She already lost a 20 pounds in a month just laying of the sugar, processed foods and stressing about the surgey. She got the lap band against my wishes anyway. I felt she wasn't healthy enough for this. I am so upset she did it. She told me she was supposed to be out of the hospital in 1 day but she had blood pressure/stabilization problems for almost 4 days. Wednesday I saw her and she was not looking so hot and I sensed she had infection. So I told her to go back. Today she told me she did have a viral infection and is on antibiotics. She has 4 kids and is a single mother. Hopefully she will end up taking the next 2 months off to recover at my pressuring her to take it easy and recover. I will be all over this area of Dims looking for tips. Basically, any advise on how she should deal with this to recover is greatly appreciated.
