I just had a wisdom tooth extracted yesterday and was given a script for tylenol 3.

While it really helps, the side effects are almost worst than the actually pain from oral surgery.

I get terrible headaches, to the point where I feel nauseous or if I move my head if a teeny bit, I feel like the floor collapsed beneath me. Basically, I have to lay very still and be in a very quiet room without any light. Any sudden movement and I'm done.

Now the side effects aren't as severe as when I had to take percocet or vicodin after gallbladder surgery, but they are present albeit in a less severe form.

Should I call up for a new script? Or can I discontinue use of tylenol 3 on my own and just take a large dose of ibrproufen (800 mgs) every 12 hours. Yes, I'm aware the potential damage that ibprofuen can do to one's body.
