My foolish nephew (he's been 18 for 10 whole days) has gotten himself into a tight spot. He went to visit some internet friends in Hamilton, Ontario. Of course he's finding out the hard way that people are not always the same in the flesh that they are on the net. The guy he was supposed to stay with broke up with his GF three days after he got there and they both got tossed...etc, etc.
Anyway, his return flight isn't scheduled until the 15th and he wants to come home NOW. He's going to take a bus from Hamilton to Buffalo NY. I am trying to change his return ticket (but for instance, there was a $1200 charge to get him out tomorrow, the original ticket was only $252 roundtrip from Seattle to Buffalo) but need to find out some things about Buffalo for him.
What I need to know is: Is there a YMCA or Youth Hostel in Buffalo that he could stay at for a night or two? Someplace I can overnight him a money order so the kid can eat until I can get him on the plane. I don't have $1200 and I'm not sure I'd spend it if I did. He needs to learn about life but I don't want him hurt or starving while he does it.
