I've just found your interesting forums and I'm hoping I can make some friends and meet people to support me (and who I can support in return!) through what is sometimes a minefield of apearances/identies/desires/conflicts!
Being a young woman in a country that has no size-acceptance culture; as has been fought for in the Western Countries (keep it up guys and gals!) it is sometimes difficult to not feel isolated.
My size provides an obstacle to friendships or relationships (or is that just my perception??) but perhaps it would feel different if I was in a place with many other beautiful/confident/+sized people and admirers. Anyway, for now I am just here to learn, enjoy other's company and see the bigger BBW/FA community, which I think is a beautiful and necissary thing.
Since I am still new to exploring this as an 'acceptable' terrain, please be patient with me. My honesty has to make me say that being a bigger than average woman is sometimes the most stunning and sensual thing, but sometimes a real pain. I'm sure others can identify? This does not make me want to change who I am, it means that something hard-won is doubly precious.
