I noticed some comments regarding the change in settings on the boards. I'll try to explain the change.

We'd gotten some feedback concerning the forums and the feature which shows when there are new threads or new posts in a thread. The old setting marked threads as "read" if you simply entered the forums, even if you hadn't read all the threads. (For those of you who might not know, if you click on the little checkmark to the left of the thread title, it will take you automatically to the first new post since you last read the thread.)

I know this change affected those people who sort the threads by "last post time" in "descending order" (using the settings at the bottom of the page). To be honest, I am not sure about the other thread configurations.

2 weeks ago Conrad changed the setting so that only those threads that you actually read during a visit will be automatically marked as read.

The confusing part was that when he changed the setting (on 12/22), it went back to December 13th as a starting point, so even threads you'd read after the 13th came up as new. Now that time has passed it seems to be working well with all the new posts.

I hope I've explained this clearly. I guess I'll find out when you all respond with:
