I refuse to believe this.
1. They only tested Danish couples. What about those who don't eat pastry?
2. Whether a woman conceives is entirely an individual factor. Everyone's "capability" is different.
3. My best guess is that they saw a correlation and published it as a cause without first proving it to be the latter and not just the former.
4. I also imagine someone came up with this study as a way of demonstrating it's harder to "get the job done" when one or both of the participants is fat. Of course Dim proved this wrong ages ago, but it's still a believed myth.
5. Not enough FAs in the study. Someone who likes 'em thin will naturally be turned off by a BBW, and this skewed the study even further.
article said:WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Obese couples have a more difficult time conceiving a baby than couples of normal weight, according to a study published on Tuesday identifying another consequence of putting on too much weight.
Researchers tracked nearly 48,000 Danish couples between 1996 and 2002, including about 7,600 couples with both the man and woman either overweight or obese according to standards set by the
World Health Organization.
