I was in the grocery store yesterday, not paying attention to what I was buying, just picking up stuff that looked good. Anyway, when I went to the checkout counter, I realised I didn't have as much cash on me as I thought. (I was about 5 bucks short) So I apologized and told the girl ringing me up to just take off something. I was so embarrassed! She refused to take anything off and told me she would pay the difference. I told her that I knew she didn't make much money and that I would come back and get the things I didn't have the cash for, but she refused to take no for an answer! I know for a fact that she can't make more than $6.00 an hour. Should I plan on going back and try to give her the $5 or just leave it as a RAK? This little girl has totally floored me with her generosity.
