"Bitter Old Man"
While I hate to add another thread to this forum for our little event that is coming up in less than 5 weeks, I felt that I had to, since we have not gotten the response that we thought we would have by now.
5 weeks prior to our April '09 event, we had well over 30 people who prepaid the entire event to us via our paypal account. This time out, we have 8.
5 weeks before our last event, we had almost 75 people who had sent their names to us, reserving a spot at the events they planned on attending over the weekend. As of the date of this post, we have less than a dozen.
Our events differ from events like Vegas Bash, where you pay a flat fee, whether you attend everything, or nothing. After much discussion, Berna and I agreed NOT to do that, especially in light of our current economy.
That said, the response has been underwhelming, to date. We have to supply the hotel with head counts for all of the events, so they (and we), can make the necessary arrangements to accomodate you.
We would appreciate it if you could please take the time to look over our schedule of events (you can find them in the bash thread here, or at our website, http://plushproductions.name
Once you decide what you'd like to attend, please let us know ASAP. You can PM us here, or e-mail us at [email protected]. Please note that our food related events are great values, as it would cost far more to eat off the premises, and you wouldn't have the great company of friends you've made within our little community if you did. Additionally, we provide some great entertainment over the course of the weekend, and you really shouldn't want to miss out.
