Berna and I know that many of you have been wondering what has been going on, and why no announcement has been made about a bash, which usually has taken place around this time of year.
There had been some logistics issues with the hotel, the largest of which was a change in ownership in the food service that handles both the restaurant and the catering. Berna has done an excellent job in keeping the costs down by negotiating food & beverage prices with the hotel, and as a result has made the New Jersey Bash one of the more affordable BBW/FA social events.
As of now, we've been unable to secure a deal with the hotel, so any plans for a spring bash are up in the air at this point. Berna has been looking at alternate locations, and once all options are explored, we'll make an announcement.
