Sort of ironic that a man who successfully convinced a nation to overcome any pre-judgmental natures they have about voting a man of color into office would drag his feet on whether or not to lift a ban on gays in the military. He says he's going to do it, but he's also showing that this is an issue he plans on tabling for a long while.

And while we're here, I'm also wondering why Obama won the Nobel Prize. Isn't that a bit pre-mature? I'm a massive Obama supporter but comparing Obama's achievements of world enlightenment against, say, Nelson Mandela's seems outrageously skewed. Even Al Gore with his ceaseless efforts on global warming awareness dwarfs Obama's accomplishments. I very much assume--if not hope--Obama dedicates his life to the betterment of mankind, but that should be examined and rewarded a bit later in his career.
