Hello all you wonderful Dimesioniers!
Ive been lurking on and off for a long time and I finally decided to officially introduce myself. Im a 30 year old, lifelong FA, married to my Big Beautiful Wife for almost 3 years now. She knows all about my weird FAness, and she knows that I frequent this site, and she is aware of this sites content. Shes cool with me visiting Dimensions, but she didnt like the idea of me interacting with the people on these boards. Especially All those beautiful women as she put it.
So Ive abided by her rule for quite a while now. But recently, Ive felt like I needed to ..whats the word Im looking for ..branch out? Basically, like many of you, I have all these FA thoughts and FA ideas and FA worries and FA questions, but I dont have any outlets for it in my life. I expressed this concern to my wife, and of couse, being the woman I love, she understood. So for the last few months Ive posted some non-FA thoughts in Hyde Park, just to show her how innocent it really is. So now she is cool with me interacting on an FA level with all of you. Have any of the married couples on this board ever had a similar situation?
I have to say that after all these years of lurking and reading many of your posts, I am amazed by your collective intelligence, compassion and humor. Id like to especially thank the webmaster and the moderators for making it possible for this board to exist. Was it 2003 or 2004 when this site went offline for a little while? Proof to many of us that we dont know what weve got until its gone. Anyways, thats about all for right now. Ill be around adding my own spice to the boards from now on.
