My name's Catalina (or Catherine, if you prefer), and it's high time I step out into the light and join the posting peeps of Dimensions. 
I don't intend this to be a "Welcome, Catalina!" thread. Really. I merely want to publicly profess my intention of joining in and contributing to various conversations, when moved to do so, without at least formally introducing myself first.
Though I've a long history with Dimensions, dating back to the print mag in 1997, I've not actively posted here in, like, a very l-o-n-g time. In fact, I've not posted here since before the big server switch some time ago!
However, though I've not participated directly in the forums for a while, I have kept my personal, internal thread of connection to Dimensions completely intact - I've never ventured far from here - and I adore this place and the people herein.
So please consider this my formal introduction, and let's move on to the next thread so I may freely post!
