Don't get me wrong, I love all kinds of sandwiches, from the lowly PB & J to the high-falutin' gourmet tabuleh (sp) and lamb sandwiches at the ta caterer-turned-sandwich-shop downtown.
But none of them make me feel so warm and food happy as the standard tuna sandwich on white bread with potato chips "on the side" (which of course you end up putting in the sandwich).
I like 'em all kinds of ways, but my favorite is--of course--the way mom used to make 'em....Hellman's Mayo, pressed & drained (with the can top, of course) light tuna, minced onion, diced apples, a pinch of salt & pepper--mixed up until the tuna is broken up, but not chunky or pasty.
So let's share some tuna sandwich love. :wubu: And please refrain from the Va-jay-jay jokes, tyvm.
