I was just watching global news and there was a story of a Kamloops girl who was told she would be participating with her girl guide troupe in the closing ceremonies for the 2010 olympic games. She was then told that she could not participate because she was too big for the costumes and the olympic committee would not provide her one that would fit. After the girl and her mom contacted the media the olympic committee did an about face and told the girl that she misunderstood what they had said. She would be participating but the costume would not fit and they would get one in her size.

I am not sure what the Canadians on the board feel about the olympics. I personally feel that it is all bullshit but that is just me.
